Hey everybody, I want to say thanks for coming out and I hope you had a good time. Now that I have proof people will actually show up on a Thursday night, we'll be doing this again for sure. The question is, would you all want movie night to be monthly, bi-monthly (that means every two months), or just occasional?
I also need to know if you would all like to have longer regular meetings. If we extend the meetings, it'll be easier to make time to watch our dvds from ADV and Funimation as well as start watching a series regularly. We can extend the meeting by one hour, and meet from 2-5, or by two hours and meet from 1-5. Of course, we can start watching a series regularly without extending the meetings, and just do one episode per meeting, max.
Hopefully I can get some voting tools on the blog and make this formal, but for now just go ahead and leave a comment telling me what you'd like to do.

Hi, welcome to the Irving Anime Club
This is the website of the Irving Anime Club, a program at the Irving Public Library's Central building. We like to watch and learn about Anime and Manga and try to have lots of fun. movie night monthly sounds good ,but just be careful about the date because UIL for band is coming, sole contest for Orchestra is coming too. Other that I 'm good . Who wants to see FINAL FANTASY VII ADVENT CHILDREN? I Do :P
I think an extra hour or two would be great. We need a bit more time for disscusions and such. I recomend Ruroni Kenshin, or FRUBA for a series, to watch. If it's allowed my first pick for a series is Please Twins. That is one fantastic series, and it is only 13 episodes long. Avatar would be another great series to watch, and the library has the entire first season. Ranma and Inuyasha are both good series but way too long. On the Movie front, maybe a clasic like Akira. I haven't seen that since i was like 11, and i know for a fact i didn't get it back then. Sorry for being so long, but once more, longer meeting = awesome. We really need more time for disscusions.

So far most people have said they want an hour longer at the regular meetings and movie night every month. If you object, better speak up soon!

when was it decided to hav the thurs movie nite start at 4:30pm in the afternoon? i dont even get home until 4:15pm from skool and then i hav 2 pick up 3 ppl from three different houses so how are we suppose to do that?
You must be thinking of the teen after-school movie program. That's completely different from the Anime Club movie night. We'll still be doing it 7-9, and we're thinking of doing it the fourth Thursday every month.
