Great game night! Reminder next meeting...

We're very glad to have seen so many of you at the game night and I hope you had fun. Now we won't be doing that every month, but we can do it again some time later in the year and by then I will have equipment to hook any system up to the overhead projector. Also Jiggaro promises to bring his own tv for next time so we're definitely looking at a bigger, better event when we do this again.

Now on to current events. January's regular meeting is on Sunday the 13th from 2-5PM in the Central Library auditorium, as always. We'll be getting Negima from Funimation and of course we'll continue on with Ouran. Jiggaro and or Gary may be coming up with some activities to help you use up all that sugar you'll be drinking and eating, and you know you'll love whatever we do. Contributions of snacks would be appreciated (money would be too, but we know you're all as poor as we are). That'll be a good one so make a point of showing up.

Also at the January meeting we'll be unveiling the official results of the art contest! Folks, I really want to thank all of you for taking the time to create this art and submit it. You may not think it's wonderful but I really do and I hope to do this again some time later. Submissions for the contest are closed, but we have reserved the glass cases by checkout for February and we're hoping to put together an anime club art display. No prizes for that, but we'd love for you to show off what you can do and attract even more people to the club.

Looking a little further ahead, our next Movie Night (which will be something different, details later) will be January 24th from 7-9PM. We hope we'll see you there too.

Remember, bring friends, bring family, bring strangers you meet on the street who happen to love anime! We'll take anybody as long as they're 14 or older!
