An Evangelion Event
This Sunday at 7:00PM is the FREE public screening of Evangelion 1.0 in Dallas, TX atVictory Plaza for AFI Dallas. We want all you die-hard fans to come out and join us. It is an outdoor event open to the public so bring your lawn chairs and get comfy! And for those of you dedicated enough to come cosplaying your favorite Evangelion characters, we'll be giving out dozens of FREE tickets to the Thursday, April 2nd showing at the Magnolia Theater (You can really appreciate the film when in an actual theater). Our FUNi Reps will be handing them to whichever cosplayers they encounter until we run out of tickets, so be sure we can see you. We want to make this an exciting, high-energy event so please show your support and love of anime. If you're a local fan, be sure to let me know in the comments section! =)
Also, we just got sent an invitation to an event out in Weatherford in April. Voice actors Caitlin Glass and Leah Clark will be there so you might want to check it out, especially since it's free. Follow the link for details:

I'm Lena, assistant advisor of the Weatherfrod College Anime Club. I just wanted to invite you to our Anime Film Festival coming up April 3-5.
Admission to the film fest is free and we'll be showing anime movies/ovas. Also, at scheduled times, we'll have guests Caitlin Glass and Leah Clark come to visit with us and sign autographs. There will be a concession stand with pocky, pretz, ramune, and other treats and a cosplay cafe with other treats.
If you could tell your members about this film fest we'd really appreciated. We also invited anime clubs from public libraries and colleges around the area. Here's an update on some free tickets:
If you want a pair of free tickets for the Thursday showing, I'm giving a couple away. Basically the deal is become a fan FUNimation Entertainment on Facebook and RSPV to the Evangelion 1.0 event for Thursday. Then I'll have a lottery of all the RSPV'ed guests to win the tickets. I'll be at the theater starting at 6:30pm to give the winner the tickets.
