Crispin Freeman at UTD tonight!

For anybody who doesn't recognize that name, Crispin Freeman is a prolific anime voice actor. You have heard him, even if you don't know his name. Here's some info from Wikipedia:

Crispin McDougal Freeman (born February 9, 1972) is an American voice actor. He is perhaps best known for his roles as Alucard from Hellsing, Kyon from The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, Togusa from Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex, as Holland Novak from Eureka Seven, Straight Cougar from S-CRY-ed, and as Itachi Uchiha in the show Naruto.

ANIME LECTURE AT UTD

Crispin Freeman

The University of Texas at Dallas presents anime voiceover star CRISPIN FREEMAN, giving a lecture entitled
"Mystics, Priestesses and Warrior Women"

An anime voice actor, voice director and scholar, Freeman will discuss anime as it relates to gender portrayals, as well as the power of female mythology. He has played in over 90 anime series and films including HELLSING, THE MELANCHOLY OF HARUHI SUZIMIYA, GHOST IN THE SHELL and EUREKA SEVEN. Freeman's appearance is co-sponsored by the Arts and Technology (ATEC) and Gender Studies programs.
