Big Read: Teen POEster Contest

Hey everybody, I wanted to let you know about a nifty art contest the library is running to go along with this year's Big Read. It's Edgar Allan Poe-themed so you can do lots of cool stuff like skulls, blood, crows and whatnot. Anyway, if you're interested, read the message from Allison below (the Library's diligent Teen Librarian) and the attachment. It'd be awesome for somebody to do some Poe-themed work in anime style.

Hello everyone,To get a jumpstart on the Big Read activities, we started our Teen POEster Contest on Tuesday, September 1. All contest entries will be displayed throughout the library during September and October to promote the Big Read and this year's author, Edgar Allan Poe. I have attached a copy of the entry form and guidelines. Please post these in your teen areas. If you need copies for your teens to pick up, please let me know and I will make sure you get some. The contest ends on Saturday, October 17. Winners will be selected the following Saturday by local graphic artist, Bill Fountain, after his Teen Graphic Novel Workshop on October 24 at Central. Prizes will be awarded to the winners. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask. And thank you for helping promote this year's Big Read. Allison

And here's the entry form.
