Meeting July 8th!

Don't forget to come to the Central Library this Sunday, July 8th for the Irving Anime Club's next regularly scheduled meeting. As usual, we'll be starting off with some fun activities, enjoying plenty of snacks, and of course, watching some anime.

ADV has sent us a disc with the first two episodes of Madlax and Funimation should be sending us the first Samurai 7 disc. I don't know about Madlax, but Samurai 7 is a great show. And of course, we'll be watching some more Ouran High School Host Club.

Mark it on your calendars, program it in your phone, or write it in your hand, but don't forget! We'll be having the meeting regardless of rain and flooding, so if you can make it past the raging waters, we'll be waiting!

Next Club Meeting

In case you didn't read the first post, the next meeting is this Sunday, January 14th at 3PM in the Central Library auditorium. We'll be watching some Case Closed, and I'll have a few goodies to give away. I'm bringing a few snacks and drinks, but you might want to bring something to share. Also, I've got some anime news for you. If you don't show up, you don't get anything, so be there!

Note: This weekend, the National Weather Service is warning us of ice storms. In cases of inclement weather, the library typically stays open, and we will have this meeting as regularly scheduled. However, if most of you can't make it, I will hold off on giving any goodies away until next time. If we do close, we'll just have to see about re-scheduling the meeting. If there's bad weather on Sunday, please call the library first to find out if it's open. The main number is 972-721-2440.
