Meeting Feb. 11th

I want to thank you all for coming out to our meeting this past Sunday. It was good to see you all, but especially the new faces. I hope you enjoyed the showings of Case Closed and Le Chevalier d'Eon. If a majority is willing, we can probably finish watching that one at our next meeting. By the way the next meeting is March 11th. Mark your calendars now. I do not yet know what will be shown at that one, but if you check the blog , you'll see an announcement when I do know. Of course there will be some more goodies given away, perhaps even another special drawing, and I'll be providing snacks as usual. Special kudos to uh, Robert, I think, for wearing his Naruto gear. Now that's dedication!

By the way, Amanda has sent each of you an invitation to become a member of the blog, and none of you had accepted last we checked. Please do so so that you can fully participate in our discussions. In the future I hope to have all news and business take place on it rather than through email (because I for one don't want 50 emails in my inbox from discussions about Fruits Basket).

Also, I'm going to try (and remember I said try) to put together our first movie night next month. Hopefully Thursday nights still work for most of you. Also check for a blog entry on that subject. Discussion on that subject will take place on the blog. There may be a special contest where you get to show a movie and win a prize for providing it. More on that later (hint: check the blog).

There has been an entry for the logo contest. For those of you who are still dilly-dallying around about your entry: If you don't submit it, you don't even have a chance at the prize. So hurry up. We need some graphics for this club.
