First off, don't miss our movie next week! Thursday the 26th (7-9 PM) we'll be watching Vexille. Be there! Further off, our next meeting comes up July 13th (2-5PM in the auditorium as usual). We'll be watching more Genshiken, an episode or two of XXXHolic (another CLAMP title). And we'll watch another Funimation title that you folks get to pick. If you look down below, you'll see two pictures of different titles and some short descriptions. If you prefer one over the other, just write me back with the title you want to see.
Second, I've put some files online for your enjoyment. June's newsletter is here. Yes, it's a bit difficult to read in places. We're still getting all the kinks worked out. The A-kon slideshow is here. One warning though, it's in MS Publisher and completely uncompressed, so it's about 248 MB! I'll be working on a smaller version as I get the time, but if you've got the stuff, take a look and enjoy.
Speaking of the newsletter, Jiggaro and I are about to start working on the new one. We are open to suggestions as to what you want to see. If you want to get in on the act and write something, feel free. We'll publish anything that falls within the scope of the anime club and makes a reasonable amount of sense. If you don't want to write but you do want a column about video games or certain anime, just ask. We'll do what we can.
