You might be interested in the Asian Film Festival

For you asian film lovers, the Asian Film Festival will be from August 14th-21st at the Magnolia theater in Dallas. It includes 24 movies from Asia. There's going to be a lot of good movies, and this is your one chance to see them cinematically in the US. Well, one or two of these might get a limited release over here, but most of them won't, even though there's some awesome stuff. The festival is just a week away now.Regular admission: $9 (online and at the Magnolia Theatre Box Office); $7 (for AFFD Members - online purchase only) Student and Senior: $7 (at the Magnolia Theatre Box Office only) Opening, Centerpiece, Closing films: $12 (no Student and Senior discounts); $10 (for AFFD Members - online purchase only) VIP Pass: $125 One thing to keep in mind with the Opening, Centerpiece and Closing film tickets is that those include the film and the reception. The Opening night reception is at The Fish on August 14th at 9:30pm.
